SMVDSB Recruitment 2026 Notification Released for 105 Posts: Check Eligibility, Offline Application Process, Important Dates, and Vacancy Details

One important note on the Enforcement & Security Guard post 30 vacancies, the single largest opening in this entire recruitment. But it is exclusively for ex-servicemen and Agniveers meeting specific service criteria. If you do not have a background, then this job is not for you. You should read the eligibility conditions carefully before you decide to apply for this job. Do not send in your application if you are not from a background. This job requires a background, so you must have one to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications must be from institutions recognized by the relevant government authority. Verify your certificate’s recognition status before applying.

Age Limit

This is a term employment appointment, not a regular permanent government post. That distinction matters. The initial contract is for one year. How to Apply Offline – Step by Step

There is no online portal. No registration link. No digital form. Everything physical, everything posted or hand-delivered.

Step 1: Visit maavaishnodevi.org and download the official application form PDF from the Advertisement / Recruitment section. Print it clearly.

Step 2: Read Advertisement No. 05/2026 in full before touching the application form. Every condition, every qualification requirement, and every instruction read it once completely before you start filling anything.

Step 3: Fill the application form clearly in blue or black ink. Use capital letters where required. Name, date of birth, educational qualifications, experience details every field must match your supporting documents exactly.

Step 4: Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents. Do not send originals they will not be returned.

Step 5: Enclose the demand draft of ₹200 drawn in favor of FA/Chief Accounts Officer, SMVDSB, Katra. Attach it securely to the application.

Step 6: If applying for the Enforcement & Security Guard post, attach your discharge book from the armed forces. This is mandatory applications without it will be rejected.

Step 7: Place the complete application package in an envelope. Write the post name clearly on the envelope. Address it to: Central Office, SMVDSB, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir – 182301.

Step 8: You need to send this by registered post or speed post. You can also deliver it in person to the central office. Do not forget to keep the receipt or the acknowledgement slip that they give you when you send or deliver the documents to the Central Office. It is your proof of timely submission.

Step 9: Keep a complete photocopy of everything you sent the filled form, all attached documents, and the DD details. You will need these for reference during shortlisting and interviews.

Send only self-attested photocopies. Never send original certificates by post for any recruitment anywhere.

Selection Process

Document verification happens alongside or after the interview. Original certificates will be checked at this point.

Salary Details

These pay scales follow the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix. Beyond their salary, SMVDSB employees also get a Dearness Allowance, a House Rent Allowance, medical benefits, and other benefits as per the Shrine Board’s service rules.
